The Star: Pickled Sun-dried Tomatoes

Sometimes the best meals are the simplest. This "Savory Orchard" Flatbread was inspired by one of our creative customers who wanted a bold, flavorful lunch without the long wait. The acidity of the red onion perfectly cuts through the rich olive oil and herbs in our Mediterranean Sun-Dried Tomatoes.

Ingredients:

  • Grandpa’s Recipes Product (The Star)

  • Flatbread or Naan

  • Mozzarella Cheese

  • Sliced Red Onion

  • Grilled Chicken strips

How to make it:

  • Base: Preheat oven to 400°F. Brush your flatbread with a little oil from the Sun-Dried Tomato jar.

  • Toppings: Layer your cheese, chicken, and onions. Top with plenty of Sun-Dried Tomatoes.

  • Bake: Cook for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the edges are crisp.

Chef’s Note: Sprinkle a pinch of dried oregano or red chili flakes over the cheese before baking to give it an extra kick of Mediterranean heat!
